On a painting trip to Hana I was photographing the plants and luxurious flowers for future studio work.  I came to this perfect Shell Ginger and was taken with the colors and the shine of the flower buds.  Eventually, I saw some of the "green leaf" looking back at me...a Gecko. He was as curious about me as I was him.
