The days of Maui in 2020 brought us to the garden and to befriend two of our geckos- and they have been constant companions anticipating their banana treats each evening. I decided that they needed to be commemorated in a painting. I surrounded them with the garden's flora and fruit- Lilikoi- passionfruit, bird of paradise, red dragonflies, the bees and endless vines.  Gracie is climbing the stem, and George is hanging on the Bird of Paradise bloom.
